On 18 February 2009, the Port of Hastings Corporation's Sustainability Policy was approved by the PoHC Board of Directors. This policy is the first step in the implementation of commitments to ensure the port, its environment and its community have a secure and sustainable future. Development of a Sustainability Strategy to cover all aspects of current and future port activity is now underway. The Corporation has also voluntarily entered into the State Government's ResourceSmart Program, run by Sustainability Victoria. Click here for further information on the program.
