Western Port supports many water based recreational activities including boating and sailing, angling, swimming, and diving. 

The combination of commercial shipping and recreational boating activities requires users to exercise care and respect when accessing Western Port waters.

All users of Western Port are reminded that it is a requirement to comply with "Harbour Masters Directions". Failing to comply will result in significant penalties under the Navigation Act and Marine Safety Act.
